Supporting Our Community

Mercy Wellness supports Sonoma County’s local community. We strive to take meaningful and measurable action in philanthropy, sustainability, safety, and inclusion. With the help of our local partnerships and the generosity of our amazing #MercyFam, we can make an impact within our community.

Elevating our community one Mercy order at a time.

Our Community Partners

Serving their community since 1931, the Humane Society of Sonoma County is a donor-supported safe haven for animals. We’re dedicated to bringing people and companion animals together for a lifetime of love. The animals in our care receive medical treatment (including spay/neuter surgery), training services, and adoption assistance.

The Mission of Sonoma County  LGBT Pride is to promote equality for all. Working with community leaders, we work to support the non-profit community and to preserve and educate the community about the rich LGBT history of Sonoma County.

The Mural Project discovers untapped artistic talent in communities that crave a thriving art scene. We offer opportunities for promising artists to create murals that will beautify their communities and make a statement in the larger world. Our work establishes a creative pipeline to art as a profession while kindling fresh art culture in underserved neighborhoods. The Mural Project exists to help artists see that when that opportunity is lacking in their community, they have the agency to change it by creating something new.

They are an advocacy group of Veterans for Veterans who use medical cannabis. They provide education, safe access, information on VA resources and benefits, and an opportunity for veterans to work with other veterans within the cannabis industry.

Daily Acts is a local environmental non-profit focused on DIY solutions for resource conservation and community resilience. They have education programs and hands-on volunteer programs where you can get involved and learn more.

BAMP is a nonprofit organization of local artists dedicated to facilitating and creating public art. Our vision is to turn bare, blighted walls into artistic gateways to the community’s surrounding environment.

The Living Room serves Sonoma County women and their children who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless — through housing, wrap-around services, food, and outreach.

The mission of The Living Room is to ease adversity, promote stability, and support self-reliance for their clients.

Santa Rosa Arts Center’s mission is to enrich the cultural experience of our community by providing arts education, classes for all ages and abilities, exhibit space for local artists, and offering a venue for performances, literary arts, and events. Although it is the largest city between San Francisco and Portland, Oregon, until our organization was founded, Santa Rosa had been lacking an art center for these services.

As the largest hunger-relief organization in our area, REFB works on the front lines of emergency food assistance in our region, playing a crucial role in helping individuals, families, seniors, and children.

SNAP Cats is dedicated to the rescue and care of special needs cats and kittens. We were founded in 2013 and have grown to be one of the most well-respected special needs rescues/sanctuaries in the World. SNAP Cats is a non-profit organization devoted to finding loving new homes for special needs, seniors, FIV+, and FeLV+ cats and kittens. Since we began, we’ve rescued and placed more than 500 (and counting!) cats and kittens into loving homes.

Established in 1993, Russian Riverkeeper has tirelessly fought to preserve a thriving river system and uphold your rights to fishable, swimmable, and drinkable waters. Facing new challenges from climate change and unsustainable water use, the company’s mission to protect the river and its community relies on vigilant enforcement of environmental laws and the active participation of individuals. With your help, Russian Riverkeeper will adapt to climate change, defend water sources, tackle trash, restore healthy habitats, and empower the youth to become future environmental stewards.

North Bay Cancer Alliance is the only cancer-focused nonprofit providing patient assistance to cancer patients at every hospital and oncology center in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Lake and Mendocino counties.

Since 1996, LifeWorks has earned a reputation for providing mental health services that are informed, respectful and culturally responsive. Our vision is to build a stronger community where access to effective mental health services supports individuals and families throughout their lifespan. We work collaboratively with city, county and state programs, other service providers and the community to support the well being of Sonoma County.

In 2008, the nonprofit Farm to Pantry was launched to serve a need in our local community: to provide a continuous supply of fresh, healthy produce to our most vulnerable neighbors who lack access to it by cultivating a community of growers and volunteers. The mission then and now is to bring together communities to end food injustice and reverse global warming by rescuing and sharing locally-grown food with those who have been systematically marginalized. We envision a just food system in which everyone has access to healthy food that honors and nourishes our community and heals the planet through eliminating food waste.

Corazón Healdsburg is a mission-driven human-rights organization that believes in human dignity and human rights. As Aristotle has been telling us for more than two thousand years, justice is only achieved when we have equality. According to him “There is nothing so unequal as the equal treatment of unequals.” People should be treated equitably and ethically, given their individual needs and circumstances, and the differences between people should be recognized and valued, not diminished. Our community is not demanding too much. We just want a compassionate and just community.

Since 2007, Ceres Community Project has been dedicated to providing home-delivered meals for individuals who are too ill to prepare their own food. Our Teen Chefs, under the guidance of professional staff members, meticulously create delicious meals from scratch. Drawing inspiration from various culinary traditions and cultures, our diverse plant-forward menu is thoughtfully designed by our Executive Chef, who brings extensive international experience from Michelin-starred restaurants, and approved by our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. As a renowned leader in medically tailored meals in Sonoma and Marin counties, we take pride in using fresh, high-quality, and 100% organic ingredients, including produce sourced from our gardens and local community farms whenever possible. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve you with our nutritious and flavorful meals.
